The smell brought us here and what we saw was completely unexpected. As we shined a light towards the bush, we saw the heartbreaking carcass of a deceased male elephant who we later found out passed away due to natural causes. Overwhelmed with grief for this beautiful animal, we then noticed 3 lion cubs climbing and feasting away at the remains of the the elephant.
