"Pointing your telescope at the sun is very dangerous, unless you have the proper filter. @optcorp hooked it up with a daystar quark, and I took it out for a quick first light test yesterday. For those who don’t know, this filter is specialized to look at the hydrogen alpha wavelength on the sun, instead of typical white light filters like you might encounter in solar glasses.
