One of my favorite trips this year was the day before my birthday, in March. I took 7 trains, and 2 taxis (4 hrs one way)— to Ryujin Otsuribashi, in Ibaraki Japan, to bungee jump!! 😆😅 The bridge is 100 meters up, which is around 330 ft. It was SO cold and SOOO incredibly windy🥶! I jumped twice; back to back: once forward and then backwards. I’ve bungee jumped before in the states, but here— once you stopped bouncing; while hanging mid-air, you had to basically do a V-up sit-up and pull a cord at your feet, HARD. 😳 Once, you pulled the cord your feet would be released from the harness and would droppp, leaving you attached by a small harness at your chest, and which they used to reel you back up 🙃 …. Honestly, this was the scariest part of the whole experience haha. Swipe➡️ to watch me jump. Haha I made a mistake looking down my first jump!!
