September 4th is designated as Kusu no Hi (Kusu Day). Kusu, a term used for Okinawa’s distilled alcohol called awamori, describes those that are matured for a minimum of three years. Awamori continues to be refined, and it becomes tasteful aged awamori. The popular way to enjoy it is to serve room-temperature kusu straight up while savoring its sweet aroma. Are you a first-timer to try kusu? Then you will enjoy it on the rock.

One more fun tip to remember is to select the appropriate sake cup because the flavor changes depending on the cup you pour your kusu into. You can change sake cups from time to time according to the purpose and mood of your party or gathering.

We look forward to welcoming you when things settle down. Stay safe!
