Next week marks National Air Ambulance Week, which recognises the vital lifesaving work of the Thames Valley Air Ambulance and the 20 other services in the UK. 📅 Providing emergency critical care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 🏥Approx 70 patients a day receive treatment via an air ambulance service. 🚁On average 2 air ambulances are in the air at any given time in the UK. The Countess met critical care paramedics, Hannah and Neil, Doctor James, an Emergency Consultant at John Radcliff Hospital as well as the Air Ambulance, and Pilot Dave who has previously served in @royalairforce The Countess also sat down with former patients of @tvairambulance, including Charlotte who was involved in a serious road traffic collision in 2013 which left her with life-threatening injuries.
