Now Bodhi is 9,5 months and I’m still breastfeeding! 🥰 With Covid-19 arriving to our life’s I wanted to make sure that Bodhi has the strongest protection possible and nursing strengthens the baby’s immune system. I’m so grateful to my body for producing enough milk to keep the Milk Bar open for Bodhi and for the incredible bond it has created for us. It was amaizng to learn that babies pass on a cue through their saliva that sends a signal to their mother’s body what the baby needs and that way the mother develops the perfect cocktail for different stages of their development and if they don’t feel well their saliva will give signal to produce milk with illness-specific antibodies.
