The site of the museum is the Lorraine Motel, where Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated. It is impossible to not be emotionally moved by each interactive exhibit that brings moments of history to life. You are immersed in the Civil Rights movement in America from 1619 (the arrival of the first Black enslaved people) to the present.
