57 years ago today Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have A Dream” speech. Over half a century later, look at where we are today, it’s despicable. Our streets are still filled with protesters demanding the end of brutalization of Black people at the hands of police and from our “justice” system. Demonstration after demonstration, protest after protest, riot after riot, yet here we are STILL. People are literally dying and there are so many of you saying “bUt tHE BuILdINgs”. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!! LISTEN to the Black voices that have been begging for justice and equality for hundreds of years, EMPATHIZE with what it must be like for them, and DEMAND that change WITH them. For f*ck sake put your energy and emotion into HUMAN LIFE instead of complaining about some god damn buildings. #blacklivesmatter #nojusticenopeace
...And if you recognize all of this, but remain silent. Shame on you too.
