This playlist is all about what inspires us as musicians and surely music is only a small piece of that puzzle. After music laughter is a huge release for me. This track is off of Mike Birbiglia’s comedy album “My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend” - it’s part of a larger thread but to give you the setup, basically he recounts a story about him being the victim of a hit and run accident where the other driver was drunk. What must have been an absolute dreadful and traumatizing experience comes across as a calm, vivid, somehow hilarious tale of how it all went down from his experience. I highly recommend listening to the entire album. It’s well worth it.
