WE MADE THESE!!!! This might be my favorite craft we’ve done while stuck at home, thanks to a great session of @popsicle Virtual Recess. We followed along with @damasklove who taught us how to make these flower pots using “people colors.” She made the point in her video that paint companies have recently renamed their "flesh" paint color to acknowledge that everyone has different but equal skin tones. Each new #PopsicleVirtualRecess session pairs a craft or imaginative activity that ties in a discussion about race, representation or other important topics to help kids imagine a better world. Now we need to steal some plants from Mike's garden to make our "people of the world" planter community complete!
