ScIentists in the last decade have coined the phrase Overshoot Day. This year today is the day where we went into Mother Earth’s overdraft again. Overshoot Day is the calculated illustrative calendar date on which humanity's resource consumption for the year exceeds Earth’s capacity to regenerate those resources that year. In short we can’t keep doing this. Wildfires all over the world, Biodiversity dwindling, social tension at an all time high. It’s borrowed time... I think I matter. I don’t. I only matter if we matter. We only matter if everything matters. This day is more important than any other day that I can recall. If anyone wants to be part of movement that unites rather than divides then share a variation of this message.
