All rise, please, for our national anthem! (We still love our country, right?) This is from a gig with GE and Chad Smith. One night we threw together a show just for the NYC fans, at Irving Plaza. I volunteered to start the show with a bass version of The Star Spangled Banner. The guys were very patient & said "OK, go for it, shorty." Here were those first few seconds of the evening. We carried on for another hour or so, played some Chili Peppers, some Monkees, Some MacArthur Park, and a bunch of other crazy-ass tunes and had a great time.
