Our hearts were broken in the wake of the #ElPaso massacre and the immigration raids in MS, not to mention the continuing harm and many injustices committed against our community. A year later some of the struggles and pain look very similar. Some look very different, like the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Latino/x/e community, not to mention thousands of others. But, many of the solutions remain the same. Today I recommit to pushing for justice and equality; to leading with love and compassion; and to fighting for our future.
