Finding tiger prints and kind of hoping they’re close by. Orangutans popping out of nowhere. Meeting sunshine one of the bigger elephants I’ve ever been right in front of. Getting to spend time with Salma even though we all knew when we left she would never survive where she was living. It all breaks my heart but at the same time it all gives me purpose. I look forward to finding rivers and setting up camp with people I’ve just met, listening to the forest, the jungles, and the bush. They have so much to teach us. I love planet earth and today I feel very grateful to be here. These majestic souls are loyal, compassionate, honest, survivors, wild, strong, gentle, and brilliant. They also never forget you.
