Growing up in rural Alaska, Phillip grew up surrounded by the richness of his family’s indigenous culture. In 1995, he and his brother created a new musical concept combining music they inherited from Yupik traditions that blend Inuit drum dance melodies with R&B vocal styling and arrangements. The brothers started performing around Alaska, and today form a beautiful quartet, @Pamyualive, working with like-minded artists across the US and EU sharing their blend of cultural harmony.
