High waist vs. low rise 👙 Which is your preference? For so long I used to feel ashamed of my tummy and hide it away, hating every inch of it. 😞💔 I can still remember when I posted our first family photo on holiday in a bikini with my 9 month old baby and I got so many awful comments but the ones that stuck out the most were “if this is what your stomach looks like after a baby I don’t want children” and “if my tummy looked like that I’d kill myself”. I was about two dress sizes smaller than I am now and struggling with bulimia. Now, I normally do favour high waisted clothing because they make me feel secure, comfortable and confident BUT! I’m also slowly getting more comfortable with the other...because sometimes I might want to wear a lower rise (better tan lines 😅) and that’s okay! 💖 We shouldn’t feel like we can’t wear certain styles because of our shape or size.
