To most of you, this looks like failure. I fell. Again and again and again. But to me, it’s the most success I have felt on the ice in a long long time! This is my first triple lutz attempts since 2018. Today was the first time I skated in one year, without fear. I have finally found my comfort on the ice again and it feels so good. So for me, these falls represent progress. They mean pushing through fear and working through discomfort.
