I’d like to end my @SakuraofAmerica IG takeover with this small head shot drawing I did of Spider-Gwen from the incredible Into the Spider-verse movie. I’m planning to do something special with this drawing, as well as a giveaway, so for those of who want a chance to own this, be sure to head over to my feed where announcement will be made shortly!⁠⠀ .⁠⠀ Just like with my other past traditional Spider-man art, I penciled in the majority of the drawing and used my SumoGrip erasers to help clean up the underdrawing and details. I then colored the character and reinforce most of the pencil line art using a combination of the Gelly Roll pen series: Metallic, Silver Shadow, and Stardust. I also wanted to try out the Pigma MB art pen for the first time, so I used it for filling in the black patterned area on the character’s chest. I’ve always liked that nearly all of Sakura’s inks are archival and waterproof, so adding a water-based paint on top of them would not compromise my line art and details.
