I was a little worried before my first outing with Roman post lockdown because I knew I would need to feed him in a restaurant and I hadn't fed in public before! Should I cover us with a Muslin? Should I sit in the corner? I looked on the @peanut app to see if other women had the same worries and questions. After reading loads of posts from other mums, It was so reassuring to know that I'm not alone. Just being able to chat with other women and share my concerns meant the world to me. The women were telling me to ‘'do what you and your baby are comfortable with but don’t be ashamed it’s perfectly normal & natural!’' and it was so empowering. ❤ After that, I went out and decided against using the muslin to cover us up. It was a hot day, I wanted to see if he was latching on well so I put it in the bag and fed my bubba with pride! If you're struggling with anything baby related or just want to connect with like-minded women, I cannot recommend @peanut enough.
