Because magazines, men or just society has told us that the first image is sexy, desirable & aspirational & the second one is not. What a load of bollocks (sorry) Come on guys, we can do better than this, it’s 2020- we NEED to be doing better than this: WHEN ARE WE GOING TO START NORMALISING ALL BODIES?! Over the last couple days I have tried my very best to ignore some of the hateful & unprogressive things that I’ve seen across social media. You see as a rule of thumb I don’t read the comments that are on the daily mail- not about myself or about others- because quite frankly they are bad for the soul- but over the last couple days a slew of them have been brought to my attention across other channels & I just want to say this- if you are writing vile, unnecessary & cruel things on the internet about someone’s appearance who you do not know- you are unhappy, you are insecure & you need to take a good long look at yourself. OK?! Now that that is out the way we can move on to happier things 😂😍 I want to use my platform responsibly to try and educate, spread positivity & ultimately for good. So here goes.. The female body is a beautiful, powerful & impressive thing- they accomplish incredible physical feats, run marathons, run businesses, they create life for gods sake. They are so much more than a clothes size, than a bad angle, than a number. So stop pigeon holing us- we aren’t fruit, don’t call us ‘pear shaped’, we aren’t defined by our ‘figures’ so don’t describe us as ‘skinny’ or ‘abit curvy’. We are all beautiful, no matter what our shape or size & you best believe we bring more to the table than that. In fact ladies WE ARE THE WHOLE TABLE! 😂 We have cellulite, we have lumps bumps, rolls, stretch marks, scars & all things in between.. We are also all susceptible to Mother Nature, bloating ,good angles & bad.. in short we are perfectly imperfect & all the more beautiful for it. So ladies celebrate who you are, be proud of your shape & own your beauty- but know that you are so much more 😍」7月18日 19時55分
