I always leave my stay here feeling rested, revitalised and super refreshed but post lockdown this trip has just hit differently. I feel like I needed it and I’m honestly leaving a new person 😍 My reasons for wanting to come away were actually two fold. The first one is I just love this place, the vibe, the peace and quiet, the break, the people. But the second one is that myself and @ercan_ram have signed ourselves up for a very interesting post lockdown adventure!! 😂 We are taking part in @metro.co.uk Lifelines 2020 challenge to help raise much needed funds and awareness for the incredible work carried out by @thehygienebank!! So On the 19th of September me and this lovely fella will be hiking 26 miles across London, not only giving ourselves an opportunity to push ourselves but also supporting a charity that looks after families in desperate need of everyday essentials. This unique challenge promises to take us through 10 of London’s ‘hidden peaks’ and although it sounds tough- I can’t imagine the thought of sitting idly by when there are people to be helped. Every mother should be able to clean and care for her child, every man should be able to wake up and brush his teeth in the morning and every person has the right to have the basic essentials. So Thankyou @jasonvale for providing me and @ercan_ram with the perfect place to start off our training for this up and coming task.
