My sense of spontaneous adventure has been stifled in recent years by my growing introverted homebody-ness. I went out less, stayed out shorter, traveled less far, didn’t stray from the path. That’s been changing lately; new experiences CAN be intimidating, but they can also be awesome. I’d always been afraid to learn to bolt, because it was starting from scratch on a new skill, what if I messed something up? Turns out it’s also awesome, and I have a great mentor, teacher, and partner-in-introverted-adventure in @timkemple. Plus it instills a massive sense of pride in putting in the work and creating something for the others. I want my existence to be impactful. I want to instill meaningful change, leave a mark on the world, stand up for what I believe in.
