Been reading about bird regional “dialects”- how the sparrow usually has its own mnemonic, “Old Sam Peabody-Peabody-Peabody.” A triplet pattern- which just evolved into a double ended rhythm variant. (Drummers will know what i’m talking about, ha) Anyway, this proves that birds are popularizing new syncopations instead of sticking to local song types as previously assumed. My theory is these are Gen X birds and figured out how to use spotify. (Trimming my own bangs makes me feel like a 7 year old with plastic scissors again)
