If you’re looking to make a difference, be sure to sign the petition at that link, too. It tells the US Senate to vote YES on the Shark Fin Sales Elimination Act, Bill S.877. While this legislation does still allow the fishing industry to continue, it actively bans the sale of shark fins and stops illegal shark fins from being shipped through US ports. Which is a good first step.🦈⁠
