Kon-chiki-chin – Be enchanted by the flute, taiko, and gong that make up Gion Festival Music, as well as the elegant atmosphere created by lantern lights. Three floats feature Komagata lanterns decorated with Gekkeikan’s logo: the Kanko-hoko to the west of Karasuma Street, the Naginata-hoko to the east of the same street, and the Kikusui-hoko in Muromachi Street.

*This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Gion Festival was limited to only a portion of the Shinto rituals, and events such as the Yama Hoko procession were cancelled.
