Headed home from a week at my sister’s house. “Family vacation” was a little different this year—we drove 12 hours instead of flying, ate every meal at home (but like, that hibachi my BIL made was legit), didn’t see anyone, skipped the beach, but we were able to be with family we hadn’t seen in a year and enjoy the great outdoors/be out on the lake most days, so all in all, it was a great time. We’re on our way home and the kids have asked if we’re home yet about 1362 times. 10 hours to go.
