It’s important for people to understand that forms of structural oppression do not take place in isolation from one another, rather, they are all intertwined.

International Women's Day was in part birthed from the struggle of the working class Jewish and white women striking against the conditions they faced at work, and the oppression they faced in society.

Let’s be clear...They did not and do not fight against the oppression of Black Women. This my friends, is a prime example of patriarchal racism.
