You can gain so much insight by what the eyes are revealing to you. Sometimes we look but don’t actually see. The eyes truly are the windows to the soul and contrary to popular believe you need to make eye contact to connect. Don’t get me wrong there’s a big difference between staring and making eye contact. Demeanour and body language combined with making eye contact are important tools in communicating with not only lions but people too.
