I’ve toured every summer since 1987 (I’m not even sure how many years that is) and and this is the first summer I’ve had off. It’s been unusual slipping into different life and work patterns than I’m used to and it’s been amazing to have time to just dream together, workout, plan for what’s next creatively, work on projects we’ve been needing to create time for and do a lot of watching the world go by together. I’ve even been getting some surf (slam) sessions in. Feebly. Good summer fun! I miss shows, I miss music with my touring family, and i never realized how much I’ve missed being in one place for this length of time.
