My dad used to always tell me “When you’re in a hurry take your time and do it right the first time”. In other words if you rush things you miss the steps and end up having to go back anyway to fix them. One of the things I’ve learned being the father of three boys is that every second is precious, time goes fast and there are no guarantees about how much you’ll get. In the video i also wanted to show that sometimes dad’s gotta have talks that aren’t always easy to have. The world can sting a lot of the time and our service to the planet and to social change also requires us all to “Think Big and Start Small”. It’s humbling a lot of the time, facing the fact that most of the time world changes and our personal dreams take a lot longer than we expect - all the more reason to appreciate every second and try to find the moments of joy and closeness even in the moments of greatest challenge.
