Plastic Free July is a global movement that empowers millions of people to choose a future with cleaner communities and oceans through refusing single-use plastics.  It’s about learning and applying plastic reduction in all aspect of our lives on individual and corporate levels. As an individual with just a few smart swaps we can make much difference on the amount of plastic we produce which pollutes our planet and our own health in several ways!   And if you think you can’t make a difference here is a great quote for you. “If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.”  We just had a family picnic and here are few easy ides for plastic free picnic. 🧺 Many of these items I use every day in a kitchen and when I travel. 🧳    1. Reusable Silicone Bags BPA Free - for solids and liquids. Great for freezing too.  2. Refillable water bottles - there is one for everyone as they come in so many different styles.  3. Beeswax Wraps - amaizng to pack fruits, sandwiches, veggies and more to keep them fresh. Use it instead of cling wrap! They last 1 year and are biodegradable.  4. Bamboo utensils & straws and food container which keeps items hot or cold.  5. Reused jar from veggies I use for so many things around the house! This time it was to carry wet towel for Bodhi. Also I like to have water mist for Bodhi & it is with me all the time for refreshment.  We have this idea that if we are good and recycle that plastic it will be taken care of in the right way!
