When photographer @luca.campri found himself on assignment in China for Vogue, he decided to contact @YiZhengart, who he had originally met a year ago in Morocco. A journey to Inner Mongolia via Beijing followed with the group borrowing a minivan to travel between camping spots and yurts owned by friends. “We had no schedule, so we could end up spending two days just sitting under a tree,” says Campri. “We didn’t have electricity or an internet connection, so after the second day all our phones and laptops were out of battery and we didn’t even know the time.”
