Can you be lonely and filled up at the same time? I think so.. I’m working through ideas of what disassociation , disconnect , community, self community ( an idea of what makes up your own internal community with all of the voices in your own head 😎 ) and time and distance means to me. In my life, feelings of deep submerging then extreme removal have played a serious role , either from others ( or family ) and my own behavior. I was recently asked if the deep loneliness I feel is a new idea for me, I said , no ... it’s my oldest friend, my closest shadow. As Im entering a new phase into my life - soon to be mid late 30’s ... it’s time for me to deeply connect to who I’m evolving into. Another internal check point. How I’m using my voice, who and what I am investing in and who is investing in me. What needs to be let rolled off , and what needs to be addressed. I feel so held in so many ways from the outside world , from my close friends , from my beloved partner , from my work , but the work inside sometimes overwhelms and overtakes myself in the chatter, and sometimes It protects itself and uplifts ( me - little me- ego me ) - I was told by that same person who asked about my loneliness , that : “Feelings are not vices , they are voices , from god. “ I like that. Listen to them and be curious to what they could mean.
