A few weeks ago I was asked to write an article about my experience being under lockdown as a business owner and shop owner who, because of COVID-19 had to shut down my newly opened store. Needless to say a lot more important information has been being shared on the Internet so I’ve taken a Beat from sharing this piece that I wrote because of, like many of you I have also been focusing on very the movement towards anti-racism, which for me will be an on going every day part of my life. This might be my first time officially writing for a publication outside of my own platform , and I’m really excited to share it, as i am grateful for the opportunity to share my experience as a store owner with you.
