Located on Wooster St. in Soho, the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art is the only museum in the world dedicated to preserving and exhibiting LGBTQ art, and fostering the artists who create it. They’re using our platform to amplify three organizations that support the work and well-being of Queer BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). ⠀⠀ __ ⠀⠀ Hello, Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art here! We are excited that the Guggenheim has invited us to take over their Instagram for the day. With their generosity, we saw this an opportunity to foreground three phenomenal organizations: Black Trans Travel Fund (@blacktranstravelfund) a mutual aid organization, Black AIDS Institute (@blackaids) a black-led think/do tank that also fights for Black lives, and the artwork of the youth artists clients at the Ali Forney Center (@aliforneycenter).
