Wallpaperさんのインスタグラム写真 - (WallpaperInstagram)「British portrait and fashion photographer Rankin (@rankinarchive) turns a lens on the heroes of the NHS for his latest series. 💙 📷⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Launched to mark the 72nd birthday of the NHS this week, the 12 portraits feature medical staff from across the UK who have played critical roles in managing the response to COVID-19 including a midwife, 111 call handler, porter, nurse, cleaner, ICU consultant, paramedic and IT worker.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ The images were captured over four days under lockdown conditions in an elaborate set-up which saw the photographer capture each subject at a two metre distance from behind a plastic sheet. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ ‘I really believe you can tell a lot about human beings from the way they look through the camera. These people speak for themselves, they really are heroes, they all say they’re not – but each of them has done something heroic. Their compassion and their humility is what links all of them. They are all passionate about being compassionate about what they do.
