Gori Mayol, left, is a responsible, traditional fisherman from Port de Sóller. He has been fishing since he was 13 years old, his father taught him how to fish on his boat. Now, Gori is the captain of the same Llaüt (traditional Majorcan fishing boat) and works with a sailor & fisherman, Vincent Colom (half Majorcan and half French). For them sustainable fishing is very important, they use now nets with bigger holes for the small fish not to be caught.
When they grab some small fish or small lobsters they throw them back into the sea. Responsable fishing by the local fishers is growing fast. Good news for the planet.
