For a family home in New Jersey’s Horse Country, Ellie Cullman of @cullmankravis conjured interiors that are as inviting as they are dazzling. After the now-owner discovered 60 wooded acres of prime real estate one morning, he was quick to make a call about the land, and soon after purchased the lot. And when it came to building a home there, his wife had one important goal: “We’d like a house that looks as if it’s been there for a hundred years, just with all the modern amenities,” she told architect @jamesparaganoarchitect. Here, the custom living room sofa is in a @jabanstoetz velvet, the custom armchairs are in a @laurenhwangnewyork fabric, the circa-1800 Jacob Frères mahogany armchair is from @bernd_goeckler, the custom cocktail table is by @larreastudio_alb, the neoclassical Italian chandeliers are from @hirschlandadler, the antique Amritsar rug is from @nazmiyal, the piano is by @steinwayandsons, and a Manierre Dawson painting hangs over the Louis XVI marble mantel from A&R Asta.
