The Olympic and Paralympic Movements have the power to connect and inspire the world through sport, culture, and education. In the six months leading up to the 2018 Winter Olympics, we served as ambassadors and hosted a series of virtual lessons with Korean students at Jinbu Middle School in PyeongChang. It was such an honor to mentor these bright and enthusiastic students as we trained for the Games. They taught us about Korean culture, and we spoke to them about our experiences in sport and life and our passion for the Olympic and Paralympic values. The students came to the competition venue to support us in the Free Dance for the Individual event. It was amazing to share that incredibly special moment with them. After the competition, we were able to meet them in-person when we hosted a Q&A event at the PyeongChang Organizing Committee House. It was one of the most emotional and fulfilling moments we’ve experienced and is a true example of the unique power of sport. We’ll always remember and appreciate the time we shared together. #OlympicParalympicDay
