The Prince of Wales, as President of @britishredcross, has praised the hard work of its staff and volunteers, and their readiness to respond to new concerns that have emerged during this difficult time. A report by the charity has found that a third of people haven’t had a proper conversation with someone else in the last week and 41% of adults feel lonelier since lockdown began. The @britishredcross has been supporting people who are lonely through its coronavirus support line, distributing wellbeing packages, and carrying out welfare checks on the most vulnerable.
