Mrs Payne began her climb at Easter and has now fewer than 30 flights to go before she reaches ‘the summit’! The Prince penned how “inspiring it has been to witness the huge success” of Mrs Payne’s fundraising efforts and told Mrs Payne that “for every hardship there has been a hero – or, of course, a heroine”.
