Because of the location of the channel, the water is often calm, reflecting the magnificent cliffs that appear to rise out of the water. The channel is 1,600 meters (5,250 feet) wide and runs for 11 kilometers (seven miles), with the passageway only visible once you're almost sailing inside of it.
