And in order to truly change the world through accountable action, we must be in community to do so. Follow @mvmnt4blklives and also plug in with @showingupforracialjustice if you are white. As white people, we have our own work to do around anti-racism, and I am grateful that I found SURJ years ago to support me on my journey. SURJ (and the LA chapter @wp4bl ) is where I really learned about what solidarity means, through our important partnerships with Black led organizations doing the work on the ground. We can’t learn this stuff in a vacuum, no matter how many books we read. We must build collective power and learn from the collective wisdom of people that have been deep in this work for decades. Please plug in with SURJ and spread the message to your other white friends.
