This week’s #lovegodlovepeoplechallenge is to ENGAGE with people that you usually might not. Our lives are busy, and it’s easy to overlook those we come into contact with. Someone who has inspired me a lot in this area is Mother Teresa. She was born into a wealthy family but gave it all up, choosing to serve and live among the poor because she saw beauty in and imparted dignity to EVERY human being. She once said that “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.” When you slow down and take the time for someone, it makes them feel seen! So put down your phone. SMILE from behind your mask. SPEAK A KIND WORD to the cashier or waitress.
