So here's Camille Thompson, 27. Camille (@camillefelicity) manages
@BrooklynMoon with her father, Michael. He opened the shop when she was 2. Camille's administered now over 150,000 meals for BrooklynForLife.org from 50 small biz restaurants to the COVID frontline since March 27th. All from her apartment with pro bono support of folks from my CPA’s office. One, Karen Flood, also from home, literally worked ALL day & night some days to get it done (reconciling a week’s worth of invoices for 2500 meals per day from dozens of restaurants is no small feat).
Brooklyn for Life! is now partnered with @WCKitchen. We've reduced our provisions to the COVID frontline (for now) to focus on food assistance to Bk's public housing communities.
