We all know how this plays out, with an extremely sad ending. The killing of George Floyd was shocking to say the least.But his death was not in vain. It has sparked not only an American uprising, but an uprising worldwide! We see people rising up around the world, producing expressions of solidarity from Europe, UK, all the way to even New Zealand! A black person is killed by police officer in America at the rate of more than one every other day. Floyd‘s death also followed by those of Breonna Taylor, who is an emergency medical technician shot at least eight times inside her Louisville Kentucky home via plain clothes police officer executing a no knock warrant, and Ahmaud Arbery who was killed in a confrontation with three white men as he jogged through the neighborhood in Brunswick Georgia. These thoughtless acts of using unreasonable force, brutality, and killing others, must stop. George Floyd, may you rest in peace, and know that your death was not in vain – that it’s sparked a worldwide uprising that was long overdue! I know big miracles, reform, and positive change will come out of these horrific events. I believe! I have faith! Let us never see this happening again! This is the last time!
