KEEP THE PRESSURE ON. This is a major step toward a win for sure, and the result of tireless efforts by organizers and activists!! Because that’s a potential $100-150 million that can be used toward underfunded schools, mental health facilities, housing the unhoused, feeding the hungry and more unmet needs of the people of this city. We can imagine so much more for ourselves!! We spend $3 billion annually on police in Los Angeles. Just think about the ways that money could be used to support our communities. I know we can do better. Keep the fight going.
