ローラ・カークパトリックさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ローラ・カークパトリックInstagram)「As a kid I thought the year 2020 would bring us flying cars not more racism but here we are. With screenshoots video and modern technology today I don’t know how anyone is denying racism is abundant then I also don’t think that’s what’s in question anymore because I don’t think they care to hide it anymore and the question they are asking is... how much racism are they aloud to get away with??? If my friend was in the presents of someone talking badly about me I’d expect my friend to say something. The same goes for when racism happens with in a conversation of a group of white people even if are friends of colors aren’t around we must speak up for them because it is not harmless. I hope I have lived a life to where people do not feel comfortable around me to freely speak hate and racism and I hope my black friends know that I’m always open to be corrected! We are constantly evolving and becoming better people as humans we are becoming more conscious and aware of our behaviors more than ever and we must include how we treat other races with in that growth. Who are we to say what is aloud and not aloud to hurt a person of colors feelings. As a women I do know what it feels like to be told “o it’s just a joke or your being to sensitive” 🙄 I can’t compare my problems to that of my black friends but I do know it’s infuriating. I also know as a women what I might of let fly or not care about when I was younger is now not acceptable the same goes with the black community they are more than aloud to have constant evolving feelings 🙌🏼 be open to change with them don’t be that person that’s so stubborn or embarrassed that you can’t say you was wrong. The things I have seen this past week has left me so speechless and I really don’t know if my words are good enough but I have to try. Photo @manmanstudios」6月2日 0時48分 - laura_allstar
