If you grew up like me on a farm more than likely farm chores wasn’t really an option for you because they where just expected from you! I spent my youth being thankful for growing up on a farm and also feeling trapped. On the farm I was taught more things than most could gain in school but also felt my identity was already decided for me and leaving the farm meant betraying my family and leaving them short handed on the farm. It’s not fair for our youth to have to be tied down never getting to explore and experience all the possibilities your youth has to offer but it’s also not fair of our elders to have to carry the burden alone. Luckily with modern technology the AG world is making big changes making it more efficient for everyone one! Support your local farmers!!!! Be patient with your local farmers!!! They are both operating a whole farm while usually short handed and trying to be good business owners making our costumers happy! Also a lot of us have other full time jobs because farming dose not make ends meet! Don’t forget about your farmers once covid is gone and we as a society have returned back to normal! Once you have fresh eggs, meats raised properly and local milk, veggies straight out of the garden you can taste the difference you can you feel the difference and your see the difference there is no denying why you should support local farmers.
