They work to create an inclusive, equitable, and just society where all API LGBTQ people will thrive.⁠ ⁠ Executive Director Tracy Zhao told us, "The coronavirus epidemic has had a unique impact on API LGBTQ communities. There has been a rise in anti-Asian violence, a disproportionate impact of the disease on Pacific Islander communities, and negative impacts on LGBTQ people who are more at risk for the virus and who may not feel safe at home or in healthcare settings.
